This very rare very late serial number example Leica I (Model A) black paint camera body is in great condition cosmetically, mechanically and optically. Serial #53389. This is a very late serial number example. Made in 1930. This features the rare built in Hektor 50mm f2.5 collapsible lens. Of the nearly 60,000 I(Model A) examples made almost all of them were released with the Elmar 50mm f3.5 collapsible lens but only 1330 were released in 1930 and 1931 and the very end of production with the faster and more desirable Hektor 50mm f2.5. And extremely rare camera to find. Features the mushroom release button, hockey stick infinity focus lock and nickel plate finish on the knobs and lens.
