The championship match saw OKS of Ukraine take on Monkstown of Ireland. The game set off at a remarkable pace with both sides looking for goals and only due to the exceptional goal keeping of Koval did the score stay level until the 32nd minute when Caruth pounced to open the scoring.

The second half started in the same way with both sides having chances, OKS spurning the best opportunities as the half progressed. As OKS pushed to equalise as time was drifting away from them Monkstown broke away and scored through Carson in the 67th minute to secure victory to the pleasure of the large and vociferous travelling support.
