Pond Hockey Dreams - Sunrise at Lake Nokomis - The US Pond Hockey Championships is the largest outdoor Hockey tournament in the country. Hockey players and fans come from far and wide (40 states and 5 countries) to play 4-on-4 pond Hockey across 28 rinks built on the surface of the frozen lake. Pond Hockey is played on smaller rinks with small, boxlike goals. Four guys per team are on the ice at a time and there are no goalies, minimal rules, and almost no interference from the referee.
