USA Team captain Hilary Knight scores hat-trick in championship game, which included the Golden Goal, her 100th career point in International play, It marked the third time she has scored the game winner in a Women's World Championship Gold Medal game, after 2011 and 2017.

The gold medal also gives Knight 9 in her career, tying Danielle Goyette for most all time and her 13th career medal, tying Hayley Wickenheiser for most all time as well.
 

Team Canada led the game 3 times, which the American women tied each time, then getting a late 5 on 3 power play, which Team USA scored twice, then a empty netter to seal the deal.
