Finland skates to a 6 to 1 win over Sweden in 2011 World Ice Hockey Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Magnus Paajarvi of Sweden open the scoring at 7:40 of the second period, and then the Finnish goalie Petri Vehanen shut the door for the remainder of the game.

Finnish forward Jarrko Immonen scored a power play goal with 7 seconds left in the second period to tie the game. The third period saw Finland go on the attack with confidence, and score 2 quick goals.

The winning goal was scored at 2:35 of the third by Petteri Nokelainen followed by Niko Kapanen just 46 seconds later. Janne Pesonen, Mika Pyorala and Antti Pihlstrom rounded out the scoring late in the period.

The International Ice Hockey Federation staged the 2011 World Championships in Bratislava,  Slovakia.  The World Championship game was played at Ondrej Nepela Arena.
