The great thing about this movie, is all the original NHL players who are playing themselves in this movie. Dave Keon, Jean Béliveau, Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Paul Henderson, Darryl Sittler, Bobby Orr, Derek Sanderson, George Armstrong and many more. Even Harold Ballard got in the movie as a team doctor.
The hockey footage is nothing short of spectacular. Maple Leaf Gardens is the setting for most of the action but the old Montreal Forum, Chicago Stadium and the Forum in Los Angeles are also featured.
Think of the clothes, cars, music, street scenes and everything else from 1971. This movie is great reminder of how the game of ice hockey really came into being main stream of culture world wide.
We recomend you picking up a copy of this cult classic.
