Robert Frederick "Bob" Murray - Born November 26, 1954 in Kingston, Ontario is a Canadian retired ice Hockey defenceman, scout, coach and general manager.

Murray played his junior Hockey with Cornwall Royals and was team captain when they won the 1972 Memorial Cup.

Murray made his NHL debut with Chicago Black Hawks on October 8, 1975 vs New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in a 2-2 tie.

Murray scored his 1st NHL goal vs Denis Herron of Kansas City Scouts at 10:35 of 1st period on February 14, 1976 at Kemper Arena in a 5-4 Chicago win.

Murray played in 1008 regular season NHL games, scoring 132 goals (12 GWG / 1 OTG), 382 assists with 873 penalty minutes and 112 NHL playoff games, scoring 19 goals, 37 assists with 106 penalty minutes.

Murray played in NHL All-Star Games 1981, 1983.

After retiring as a player, Murray would become the Black Hawks general manager from 1997 to 1999, Vancouver Canucks scout from 1999 to 2005, Anaheim Ducks senior vice president of Hockey operations from 2005 to 2008 and Anaheim Ducks general manager from 2008 to 2021 when he resigned to enter treatment for alcohol abuse.

Bob Murray was inducted into Kingston & District Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
