Orlando Arena / The O-Rena
Orlando, Florida

Ground broke in January 1987 and construction was completed in 1989 at a cost of $110 million, and was entirely publicly financed. The arena officially opened on January 29, 1989.

It closed on September 30 2010 and demolished on March 25, 2012.

It was officially named Orlando Arena, then TD Waterhouse Centre, and finally Amway Arena.

The Orlando Solar Bears played in the International Hockey League from 1995 to 2001.

The Orlando Rollergators / Orlando Jackals played in the Roller Hockey International / RHI from 1995 to 1997 and used The O-Rena as home.

The Orlando Seals played in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League / ACHL from 2002 to 2004. The Seals were the winners of the league's 1st and only President's Cup in 2003 as well as the Commissioner's Cup as regular season champions after a 43–14 record.
