EditMalcolm Ames Macintyre - Born January 28, 1908 in Boston, Massachusetts - Died May 6, 1992 in Fairfax, Virginia was an American lawyer and Hall of Fame Lacrosse player.
MacIntyre played four years of lacrosse while at Yale and was a first-team All-American his senior year. He won 4 letters at Yale. Also a Rhodes Scholar.
He continued to play at Oxford University from 1930 to 1932, where he won three letters and was captain in 1932.
The 1932 team were champions of England. While in England, he was selected three times to the All-Star English team.
In 1931, he toured the United States with an Oxford-Cambridge team, playing 15 games, and defeated both Army and Navy.
He coached Yale's lacrosse team when he returned for law school in 1934.
Malcolm A. MacIntyre was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1966.
