- Abbott Cup Champion 1946, 1951 as coach of Winnipeg Monarchs
- Turnbull Memorial Trophy / Turnbull Cup Champion 1927, 1928 with Elmwood Millionaires, 1946, 1948, 1951, 1952 as coach of Winnipeg Monarchs
Wally "Pops" Monson was inducted into the British Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 1955.
