The Storrs Agricultural School Ice Polo Team 1890
University of Connecticut

Brothers Charles and Augustus Storrs donated land and money to start an agricultural school in Connecticut in 1880.
170 acres of farmland, $6,000, and a few barns, which established Storrs Agricultural School.

NOTE
The Net/Goal behind the ice polo team is one of the first images of a Hockey net. Made of wood frame and wire netting.
