Linen backed colour lithograph poster designed by French illustrator Roger Broders in 1929.
The image was used for the 1930 World Ice Hockey Championships in Chamonix, France.
There are other versions of this poster that have been produced with other printing at bottom.
Commissioned by the Paris Lyon Mediteranée Company / PLM, which was one of France’s main railway companies at the time.
PLM commissioned poster artist Roger Broders, sponsoring his travel to the French Riviera and the French Alps so he could visit the subjects of his work.
