Arthur Edward Gagné (1896–1988) with the Laval University team of the Quebec City Hockey League (QCHL) in 1916–17.

Art Gagné, a right winger and a native of Ottawa, played three years in the QCHL between 1916–1919 for Laval University, Quebec Sons of Ireland and Quebec Montagnais.

Gagné would later play in the Western Canada Hockey League (WCHL) for the Edmonton Eskimos and Regina Capitals between 1921–1926.

Between 1926–1932 Gagné played six seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators and Detroit Falcons.
