Richard Alexander Leman OBE - Born July 13, 1959 in East Grinstead, West Sussex, England is a retired field Hockey player, executive and president.

Leman played all his club Hockey for East Grinstead Hockey Club - 1st XI Captain 1985 - 1991.

Leman captained Great Britain and England from 1988 to 1990 and represented Great Britain 70 times and won 40 further caps for England in indoor internationals. After the 1990 World Cup he retired having amassed a record total of 228 selections for international matches.

- FIH Hockey World Cup Silver Medal Winner 1986 in London, England.
- Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship Silver Medal Winner 1987.
- Olympic Bronze Medal Winner 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.

In 1984 Leman was awarded UK Hockey Player of the Year.

Richard Leman was awarded the Order of the British Empire / OBE for services to Hockey in the Queens Birthday Honours of 2018.

Leman joined the Board of England Hockey in 2002 having served as a vice president for the previous year. He later became President of Great Britain Hockey in 2007 finishing his term in 2017 following the Olympic Gold medal won by the Women's team at Rio in 2016.
