The Philadelphia Flyers want to make sure it's "in the cards" for their fans to look good this Valentine's Day by giving them a Deuces Wild necktie, on Friday, February 10, 2006 when the Flyers host the Washington Capitals at the Wachovia Center at 7 p.m. Inspired by the dynamic scoring line of Flyers forwards Simon Gagne #12, Peter Forsberg #21 and Mike Knuble #22, this collectible tie, presented by Gulf, is a silk black tie featuring playing cards that represent their jersey numbers, along with their signatures and Flyers logo.

Men, women and children of all ages can look like winners wearing the necktie, which is as fun to wear as it is to watch Forsberg, Gagne and Knuble on the ice. As of Sunday, February 5, collectively Forsberg (15G,47A), Gagne (35G,26A) and Knuble (25G,21A) have a total of 169 points and are currently the top three scorers for the Flyers and are among the top scorers in the National Hockey League.

"Our fans have been a great part our team this season and we want to give them a unique one-of-a-kind keepsake, said Flyers Vice President of Marketing and Communications Shawn Tilger. Designed by the Flyers' in-house advertising agency, 3601 Creative Group, the tie will be a welcome addition in anyone's tie closet, especially a Flyers fan."
