Georges St-Pierre (born May 19, 1981), often referred to as GSP and Rush, is a Canadian mixed martial artist and the former Welterweight Champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
St-Pierre has for several years been ranked as the #1 welterweight in the world.

In 2008, 2009, and 2010 he was named the Canadian Athlete of the Year by Rogers Sportsnet.

On December 13, 2013, St-Pierre officially announced that he vacated his title and needed to take some time off from MMA. He left the door open for a possible return to MMA in the future
