PRESIDENT Administator 1302 posts	posted about 2 months ago #1 Henry Elmer Maracle was known as Buddy Maracle and was the 1st Indigenous (Oneida Mohawk) NHL player, debuting with the New York Rangers on February 12, 1931 vs Detroit Falcons in a 1-1 tie. Maracle scored just 1 NHL goal on February 22, 1931 vs Wilf Cude of the Philadelphia Quakers. Maracle played 11 regular season and 4 NHL playoff games in 1931
