Montreal Canadiens Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Finals
1955-56 this is an amateur film taken at ice level
Montreal won the Stanley Cup at home with a 3-1 triumph in game five.
With a 4-1 series win over Detroit in 1956, Montreal started a consecutive
championship streak that would reach five? a record to this day.
Rookie coach Toe Blake replaced Dick Irvin, and Henri Richard, brother of Maurice, started his playing career.
