Roy Allison Rickey - on November 15, 1893 in Ottawa, Ontario – Died September 6, 1959 was a professional ice Hockey defenseman.

Rickey play 8 seasons in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association / PCHA with Seattle (1916 to 1923), helping the Metropolitans become the first American team to win the Stanley Cup in 1917.

Rickey was Traded to the Victoria Cougars (PCHA) by Seattle for cash, January 17, 1924, and then traded again to the Edmonton Eskimos of the Western Canada Hockey League / WCHL with Archie Briden for Ty Arbour, November 6, 1924. Rickey played 1 season with Edmonton.

Rickey then went back to Ontario, and played the 1926-27 season in the Canadian Professional Hockey League / CPHL with the Niagara Falls Cataracts and the Hamilton Tigers. Rickey played for the Tigers in the 1927-28 season too.

Rickey then played his final season of pro Hockey with the Los Angeles Richfields in the California Hockey League in 1928-29.
