Max Kaminsky - Born April 19, 1912 in Niagara Falls, Ontario – Died May 5, 1961 was a professional ice Hockey centre and coach.

Kaminsky started his Hockey career with the hometown Niagara Falls Cataracts (junior & senior) for five seasons -1929–34.

Kaminsky then signed as a free agent by the NHL Ottawa Senators on December 4, 1933, scoring 9 goals, 17 assists during his first NHL season. Kaminsky was transferred to the NHL St. Louis Eagles after the Ottawa franchise relocated, September 22, 1934, and was traded to the Boston Bruins by St. Louis with Des Roche for Joe Lamb, December 4, 1934.

Kaminsky played for the Bruins for 2 seasons, and was traded to the Montreal Maroons by Boston for cash, December 7, 1936, where he played his final 6 games in the NHL.

Kaminsky joined the International-American Hockey League New Haven Eagles for the 1936-37 season, and was traded to the Springfield Indians by New Haven for Paul Raymond, December 23, 1937, and played in Springfield until 1942.

Kaminsky then joined the Buffalo Bisons, and helped the Bisons win back to back Calder Cup championships in 1943 and 1944 as American Hockey League / AHL champions.

Kaminsky finished off his Hockey career as a player / coach with the AHL Pittsburgh Hornets during the 1944-45 season, and then coach the Hornets until 1947.

Kaminsky later coached / managed the Eastern Hockey League Philadelphia Falcons during the 1951-52 season, and then his hometown Niagara Falls Cataracts during the 1955-56 season.

Kaminsky would move on to coaching junior Hockey with the St. Catharines Teepees, coaching the team to championships in 1960 - Hamilton Spectator Trophy, J. Ross Robertson Cup and the 1960 Memorial Cup championship.
