Defenseman Aleck Ellison "Alex" Irvin (1890–1971) of the 1915–16 Winnipeg Monarchs. Irvin won the Allan Cup with the Monarchs in 1915.
Irvin also played for the Victoria Aristocrats and the Vancouver Millionaires during the 1918–19 PCHA season.
