William Roxborough "Red" Stuart - Born February 1, 1900 in Sackville, New Brunswick – Died March 7, 1978 was a Canadian professional ice Hockey defenceman.

Stuart played Hockey for the Amherst Ramblers in the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League from 1916 to 1920. He led the league in goals and points in the 1919-1920 season and did the same in the playoffs that year while also spending the most time in the penalty box.

The Toronto St. Pats signed him on January 5, 1920, and Stuart made his NHL debut in the 1921-22 season and saw his first action in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The next year, Stuart won his first and only championship while helping Toronto claim its second Cup in 1922. Stuart played four seasons with the St. Pats, and started a fifth before being traded to the Boston Bruins in December 1924.

Stuart played three seasons for the Bruins before being traded to the Minneapolis Millers (AHA) by Boston with cash and future considerations for Nobby Clark and Norm Gainor, October 24, 1927.

Stuart would play three seasons with Minneapolis. Stuart was then traded to Seattle Eskimos of the PCHL, where he played a year and then played for Duluth Hornets, and the Minneapolis Millers again.

Stuart finished his career coaching back in the league he began his career in with the Halifax Wolverines in 1933-34.
