JJoseph Wilfred Camille "The Eel" Henry - Born January 31, 1933 in Quebec City, Quebec – Died September 11, 1997 was a Canadian ice Hockey left winger and coach.

Henry, nicknamed 'The Eel' played in the Quebec Junior Hockey League / QJHL with the Quebec Citadelles during his junior career. Henry led the league in goals in 1951-52 with 52 goals and in 1952-53 with 46 goals. He also led the league in point scoring in 1951-52 with 114 points and was selected to the QJHL First All-Star Team in 1951-52 and in 1952-53. Henry also made an appearance in the 1953 Memorial Cup posting 21 points in 8 games.

The 1953-54 season also saw Henry making his NHL debut for the New York Rangers, for whom he played 66 games, scoring 24 goals, and 39 points. This rookie year performance won him the 1954 Calder Memorial Trophy, beating out Jean Béliveau of the Montreal Canadiens.

Henry started the next season in New York, playing in 21 games, but only scored 5 goals, 2 assists and was then traded to the American Hockey League / AHL Providence Reds and subsequently loaned to the Quebec Aces in the Quebec Hockey League / QHL. He scored 20 goals and 38 points in 37 games for the Aces. Providence kept Henry in their own lineup the following season, and he led the AHL in goals with 50. He also added 41 assists for a total of 91 points in 59 games. He capped his AHL season by leading all players in playoff goals with ten in nine games, helping the Providence Reds win the 1956 Calder Cup championship.

In 1956-57, Henry returned to the Rangers. He split his time with the Rangers and the Reds that season, before playing for 7 straight seasons with only the Rangers. Camille was selected as a NHL Second All-Star Team left winger in 1957-58, the year he also won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for best sportsmanship combined with production.

On November 1, 1959, when Jacques Plante donned a mask for the first time, Henry was the first and the only player in that game to score on him.

In 1964-65, Henry was named Captain of the New York Rangers.

Henry also played in the 1958, 1963 and 1964 NHL All-Star Games.

In 1964-65, Henry was traded to the Chicago Black Hawks for Paul Shmyr. Henry played 22 games with the Black Hawks posting 8 points. During that season, Henry also made his first ever trip to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Black Hawks ended up losing in 7 games to the Montreal Canadiens.

Henry played the 1965-66 season for the St. Louis Braves of the Central Professional Hockey League / CPHL. Henry dabbled with retirement the following season, but 1967-68 saw him back on ice, with both the New York Rangers and the Buffalo Bisons of the AHL. He played his last two seasons with the St. Louis Blues / Kansas City Blues organization before retiring for good in 1970.

Henry coached the Kansas City Blues of the Central Hockey League / CHL in 1969-70 and then coached the New York Raiders of the World Hockey Association / WHA in 1972-73 and the WHA New Jersey Knights in 1973-74.
